How can someone have OCD and BPD? Can OCD be misdiagnosed as BPD?

BPD sometimes involves a kind of pseudo-OCD. It may involve inane rituals that seem to OCD in nature but are actually different. BPD is about infantilism—it is about retaining an infant’s emotional outlook. And infants like to engage in repetitive and ritualistic behaviors. So people with BDP, having as they a streak of infantilism, engage in such infantile pseudo-OCDisms. And some therapists therefore misdiagnose OCD as BPD and vice versa.
